Installation:
If you are self installing, we recommend having some experience working with vehicles. Otherwise, professional body shop installation is recommended. Due to the fact that one vehicle model may have many different trims with different latching positions and clearances - adjustments may be needed which include but are not limited to; radiator support, radiator support cover, any engine bay panels, engine covers, intake boxes, latches, hood hinges, cowls, and more. Please be advised.
Do I need hood pins for my carbon fiber hood?
-Yes, we heavily advise the use of hood pins. Carbon fiber hoods are very light and catch lots of air. To securely mount your hood, we recommend installing hood pins to prevent accidental malfunction.
Do I need a heatshield?
- Heat shields are optional but can prolong the life of your product. Adhesive stick-on heatshields are recommended on the bottom of your hood.
